Diana's Story

Diana came to seek help for various reasons, but her primary concern revolved around her relationships. Despite being an attractive woman in her twenties with a stable career and loving parents, she found herself trapped in a cycle of emotionally abusive relationships.

During our initial session, she expressed her frustration, saying, "They yell, I cry, we make up, and then it repeats... I can't even defend myself, I just end up crying... so it only gets worse and worse."

This pattern left her feeling sad and anxious. Through timeline recalibration, we were able to identify the underlying subconscious belief that fueled this cycle.

The process took us back to when Diana was only three years old. She had spent the day painting and was eager to show her father (the still wet) the results of her efforts. However, when he arrived home, overwhelmed by a stressful day, he growled at her to "get away from him with that."

This crushed little Diana, who ran to her room in tears, trying to process the pain.

Realizing the impact of his actions, Diana's father immediately followed her into her room to apologize for his reaction. He comforted her, dried her tears, and pulled her onto his lap to admire her beautiful artwork.

At first glance, this may seem like a happy ending. However, this memory had become a subconscious blueprint for Diana's approach to resolving conflict with men.

Her three-year-old reasoning continued to dictate her adult behaviour.

Once we brought this belief into her present awareness, Diana could clearly see its unhelpfulness. Together, we recalibrated her understanding and developed a more aligned and beneficial belief.

A few months later, Diana felt like a completely different person. She had ended her last unhealthy relationship and found herself in her first healthy, loving, and equal partnership.

"Now those guys I used to fall for at first sight just seem like trouble to me," she laughed.

while telling me about her life in a later session.
